Having been to India in February 2012, this trip gave me the opportunity to see how many of the children had grown and matured. It was a pleasure getting to see them again and I praise God for the work He has done in them. One little boy stood out to me; his name is Ngasomi. He had only been in the Children’s Home a few months and was still going through the transition period. At that time, he mostly kept to himself; he would follow our team around but would rarely interact with us. You could see anger and sadness in his eyes.
When I saw him in January, it was like seeing a completely new child. Ngasomi now actively participates in the worship services (singing and dancing), helps in leading morning songs at the school, and has a group of friends within the Children’s Home. He even helped our team with the David and Goliath skit (both at the school and church). When you look at him now, you can see happiness.
I thank God for the Paul family, who serve God by serving these children. They actively show them Christ’s love every single day; they live Christ’s commission. It is because of their service that the lives of these children are being changed.
